Top 10 YouTube Channels for Chiropractic Students

I have a confession to make… I spend WAY too much time on YouTube.

YouTube can certainly be addicting with its plethora of hilarious fail videos, comic sketches, and late-night shows that you can watch anytime. But it can also be massively educational.

Here is my list of 10 YouTube channels that provide educational and/or entertaining content that chiropractic students should subscribe to.

The Evidence Based Chiropractor

I interviewed Dr. Jeff Langmaid on the podcast years before he was the social media marketing guru he is now. He provides quality educational content for both chiropractors and patients, including his research-review podcast.

The [P]rehab Guys

Yep, they're not chiropractors. But not only do these physiotherapists produce a good variety of content, they started their social media channels while they were still students. It's a great example of how it's possible to build an audience before starting a practice.

Osmosis

There are innumerable videos reviewing anatomy and medical conditions on the web. None of them are as succinct and well done as the short, animated videos from Osmosis. And if you haven't learned the importance of space-repetition, be sure to check out their amazing flashcard app offering.

QueroQuiro

Having lived in São Paulo, I can't help but be partial to this young chiropractor in Brazil. He's making great use of social media, keeps the practice model simple, and has more energy than my 2-year old.

Dr. Najeeb Lectures

If you're looking for review videos that are more comprehensive and in depth, look no further than Dr. Najeeb. His lectures are literally world-famous and invaluable for reviewing the basic sciences and physiology.

Dr. Brett Jones

I have some (strong) philosophical differences with Brett Jones and his Kairos Training Culture. BUT, I absolutely agree with the need for chiropractic students to train their adjusting skills as any professional athlete would train in their sport - with drills focusing on speed and proper biomechanics. While I probably wouldn't follow his treatment model, but I can't help but to enjoy the adjusting flow videos he regularly posts.

PhysioTutors

Consistent, short videos reviewing clinical tests and conditions.

Ali Abdaal

A medical resident in the UK, Ali has a good variety of videos discussing studying, practicing medicine, and (my favorite) tech reviews.

Indian Massage

Sometimes you just need a good ASMR video to help you get to sleep. My first choice is usually Indian barber videos which almost always include a head massage - and sometimes a questionable neck adjustment.

MoveU

More and more chiropractors and physical therapists are moving to an online educational model to have a positive impact on more people. Dr. Mike Wasilisin and his shirtless partner have a huge following on Instagram and his crazy movement tutorials contain great information to share with patients.

There you have it… 10 of my favorite YouTube channels.

Of course, you could also subscribe to the Exploring Chiropractic YouTube Channel for interviews and (eventually) other videos for current and prospective chiropractic students.
